Why?

Near the beginning of the 2020 pandemic, I found myself quarantining alone in an unfamiliar space for over a month. Desperate for a schedule, something to do, and a connection to the outside world, I started livestreaming myself reading Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice every day on Instagram (the only book I had with me!) It went so well that when I was able to return home, I decided to continue with Emma, but switched to YouTube so the streams could be archived. I continued reading daily, with occasional breaks, through September of 2020. I continually think about bringing it back, so when the time is right, you can hear about it by subscribing to my YouTube channel.
