Sarah writes short fiction about music and magic in her hometown of Seattle. She has self-published chapbooks of her short stories “The Wedding Band” and “Cabbage Rose,” which are available to buy in her store. Her story “Grey, Black, and Ash” was also featured on Fiction365.com. All three of those stories were recorded as an audiobook, which is available now for streaming or download.

In a past life she was a music journalist, and wrote reviews, interviews, and columns for publications which mostly don’t exist anymore, like Jew-ish.com, Candy for Bad Children, and Brick Magazine. She also used to write for Razorcake, which is miraculously still in print.

In an even paster life she wrote comics under the handle Esyla, most notably the webcomic Angry People, which was published on Keenspace from 20012003. She also wrote and illustrated some comics which were featured in anthologies, all of which are now out of print, so it’s mostly just a fun fact at this point.
